At Burvill House Surgery all initial contacts are currently by personal arrangement by the clinicians, e-mail and telephone.
All routine appointments will be triaged by the Doctor by telephone only (telephone consultation appointments). The telephone consultation appointments will be available to book online and by contacting the surgery on 01707 269091 from 8:30am.
These appointments will be for a telephone call from the Doctor, PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE SURGERY. The Doctor will discuss how to help you & if necessary arrange a face to face appointment. For the time-being, there will be no face-to-face appointments to book directly.
Please use the letterbox on the left hand door to drop off prescription requests and samples.
All prescriptions will be sent electronically to your nominated pharmacy, please notify reception on 01707 269091 to nominate a pharmacy if this is not already in place.

There is no parking for patients at Burvill House Surgery. Please use the public car parks nearby. Please be respectful of the residents in Dellfield Road.
Requesting copies of results
Patients please allow 7 days turnaround time for requesting copies of your results. Please ensure if you need these for a hospital appointment you request them at least 7 days before your appointment.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
From 25.5.18 the law is changing regarding data protection. We have updated our Privacy Statement and have produced a Children's Privacy Information leaflet. These can be found in the Data Protection section of our website.
As part of the new regulations that came into force on 25/5/18 we are removing mobile numbers from patients records when they are aged 16 and 17 and the mobile number clearly belongs to a parent. If you would like this number re-instated on your medical records you will need to inform us by completing a consent form.

Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.
From April 2018 you will be able to access extended GP services between 6.30-8.00pm Mondays to Fridays and between 8.00am to 4.00pm on Saturdays and from 8.00am to 12.00pm on Sundays. These extra appointments will all be at Spring House Medical Centre (across the road from the UCC - Ascots Lane AL7 4HL). It is likely that you will not see a GP or nurse from this practice at one of these appointments. Do ask our reception team when you call whether you would like one of these Extended Access appointments. There are a few same day appointments on Saturday and Sunday at the Extended Access hub - please call 01707 294 358 to book these.
We will still be open every other Tuesday evening and every other Saturday morning at Burvill House Surgery as usual.
