Welcome to Burvill House Surgery

We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.

Dr Anne-Marie Angus is leaving Burvill House Surgery on 6th June after 18 years!

She has worked tirelessly to improve the health of our local population, never compromising her gold standard care. She has not only saved lives, she has trained new GPs, has improved endless patients’ life expectancy and comforted and given a truly personal service to those nearing the end of their time.

Her expertise in Cardiology, Diabetes and Rheumatology in particular will be missed by all of her colleagues.

She is moving to another practice to address new and exciting challenges and set up GP and nurse training.

We hope you will join us in thanking her for all of her years of service, we will be happy to forward your messages to her if you leave them at reception or e-mail them to: burvill.general@nhs.net

From April 2018 you will be able to access extended GP services between 6.30-8.00pm Mondays to Fridays and between 8.00am to 4.00pm on Saturdays and from 8.00am to 12.00pm on Sundays. These extra appointments will all be at Spring House Medical Centre (across the road from the UCC - Ascots Lane AL7 4HL). We will still be open every other Tuesday evening and every other Saturday morning at Burvill House Surgery as usual.

Partners in Care

Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.
