We are providing these clinics at the surgery for flu vaccinations and Covid-19 booster vaccinations. Please call us after 11am for appointments at these clinics!

Due to the covid-19 pandemic and now our work on Providing both Flu and Covid- 19 booster vaccinations we are still extremely busy. Please be patient with us as calls may take longer to answer and routine appointments are limited. Urgent medical problems will be prioritised.

If you do not need an appointment and for non-urgent, calls please call after 11am.

Appointments are bookable every day from 8.30 am. We are sorry but Online appointment booking is not available at the present time. We are only booking GP appointments on the day by telephone and these will initially be consultations by telephone or video link. 

If you are able to use the econsult system(link below) to describe your symptoms and request advice or an appointment on line. This is the route recommended by the Patient Group and a doctor will get back to you within 24 hours. 

All appointment requests will be prioritised and dealt with on a case by case basis including face to face and  home visit appointments where necessary. For more information click the appointment tag at the top of this page.

Prescriptions

Our Staff cannot accept prescription requests over the telephone. If you need medication urgently please speak to your pharmacy. Medication requests can be submitted online or by posting a paper request into the locked box outside the surgery building.

Parking

There is no parking for patients at Burvill House Surgery.  Please use the public car parks nearby. Please be respectful of the residents in Dellfield Road.

Requesting copies of results

Patients please allow 7 days turnaround time for requesting copies of your results.  Please ensure if you need these for a hospital appointment you request them at least 7 days before your appointment.

Extended access

You are now able to access extended GP services between 6.30-8.00pm Mondays to Fridays and between 8.00am to 4.00pm on Saturdays and from 8.00am to 12.00pm on Sundays. These extra appointments will all be at Spring House Medical Centre (across the road from the UCC - Ascots Lane AL7 4HL). To find out more please see the extended access link under further information on the right. Of course we will still be open at Burvill House on alternative Saturdays.
