Noticeboard

GP Services are busier than ever before! Delivering more appointments but in a different way. For an explanation please see Latest News on the right of the screen.

All the healthcare staff working in general practice are facing a big increase in demand for their services, so your patience is really appreciated.

Repeat Prescriptions

If you are on regular long term treatment then you may well be able to have repeat prescriptions without having to see the doctor every time. Patients who have repeat prescriptions can request a new prescription by posting or delivering the right hand side of the repeat prescription to the surgery– just tick the items you require.

Alternatively you may order online via the link at the top of this page (registration required)

Telephone requests are not accepted because of the risk of errors.

Collections

If you would like us to post your prescription to you please enclose a stamped addressed envelope. We sometimes use the right hand page of your repeat prescription to send you a message and may ask you to attend for a review in order that you get the best and most appropriate care. You can usually arrange for your local pharmacy to order your prescription so that you can collect your medicines directly from them.

If somebody else is collecting your script on your behalf then please supply them with a written note of authority.  Consent forms are available from reception.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Please allow three full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
